To All The New Men Entering The New World

You are inspiring.

You young people coming of age right now are so energetic and full of life.

As I see it, it is our responsibility (as slightly older men) to help guide that enthusiasm in ways that will benefit you and the future you are building.

So what do you need?

You need a few role models and peers to give you a bit of hope.

Not many.

Just a few will do the trick.

What else do you need?

Here are a few things:

• mentors

• an accurate understanding of how the world works

• some valuable online and offline skills

• peers to take the journey with

• a good sense of adventure

• a taste for personal responsibility

• and a willingness to step into the dark without a guarantee it will work out like you expected (hint, it is usually better, but very different)

Here is to all you young people coming of age right now.
